The 2009 / 2010 GUE Committee are hereby setting out the 4 year plan for the purposes of structure, growth clarity for all BFA Members who are afflicted to Guernsey.
Short Term Goals
- To have a clear and working constitution
- To collate the minutes and paperwork in one central location
- To have a website up and running
- To develop the coaching training plan
- To create guidelines, objectives and policies & procedures relating to:
- GUE Discipline Regulations
- Clothing Regulations
- Anti-Doping Regulations
- Child Protection Policies
Medium Term Goals
- To incorporate the GUE to a Guernsey LLC
- To create guidelines, objectives and policies & procedures relating to:
- Youth Development
- Senior Development
- Veteran Development
- Club Development
- Coach Development and Training
- Sponsorship and Grant Policies
- Create the Guernsey Fencing Open
- Bring qualified coaches and referees to the Island to train fencers and coaches
- To revise update and publish the selection criteria
Long Term Goals
To increase the numbers of Guernsey fencers in clubs within the next 2 years
